Toddle Talk with Rachel
Having always enjoyed working with babies, young children and
their families when working as a junior doctor in paediatrics, I jumped at the opportunity to become an accredited
Toddle Talk instructor and now I can enjoy having fun, signing,
singing and sharing my skills with you and your child, and get to
pick my son up from school!
I learnt British Sign Language (BSL) 10 years ago purely for
personal interest and gained my level 2 qualification. Since then I
used it intermittently in my professional role but refound my love
of signing when my son was born, signing to him initially and
then with him from an early age. I'm now signing with my daughter and can see first hand how signing can help form a close bond with your child, make it much easier to understand his needs/wants and help boost his language
development.
I am looking forward to meeting you and introducing you and
your child to signing in a fun and enjoyable way.
