Toddle Talk with Kirsty
Hello! I'm Kirsty and I am your Toddle Talk baby signing instructor for the West Yorkshire area, primarily in Halifax.
I started baby signing classes with my own baby when she was about 4 months old and was amazed when she started signing back to me what she wanted, 'Milk', 'More' and 'Cheese' were her favourite signs.
I loved signing and found it interesting and fun so I went on a British Sign Language level 1 course to gain my 1st qualification in Sign. Fast forward 4 years and I have progressed further gaining Level 2 and Level 3 BSL qualifications with Signature.
I now have 2 children who both sign frequently. My son isn't talking yet but he is able to communicate using sign language. His favourite signs are 'More', 'Bird', 'Thankyou/Please' and of course 'Milk'!
I'm so excited to be sharing my knowledge and to teach other parents and carers how to sign with their little ones to help improve communication in a fun, interactive and friendly class. There will be songs, sign, musical instruments, puppets and stories.
